An aesthetic, emotional and contemplative itinerary
At the origin of my project is the desire, like any photographer, to capture a moment, an experience, to record a fragment of reality. And for me in particular, to embrace the magical beauty of nature and the world.
Some Photosquares will ignite in you a desire for departure and adventure. Others may plunge you into memories, reverie, a continent of emotions.
Others will simply open your eyes. To make you see reality differently – the lines, colors and shapes that surround us.
Over a hundred photos in one
Photosquares are photographic works based on the grid concept that emerged in the 1960s. The grid deconstructs and reconstructs a new world.
Just as our brains create vision by synthesizing the images captured by our two eyes. Just as, on our screens, the grid of pixels creates the digital image.
Photosquares question our vision of the world, the place and the way we look at the work. Much more than a simple photo, each Photosquare is a living photographic work, multiplying scales, paths and points of view. And above all, the doors between oneself and the world.
An invitation to travel
Photosquares let you explore new spaces. With them, even familiar places become charged with the unknown. Your gaze wanders, losing itself in the details of a new landscape, a maze of hypnotic shapes and colors…
To have a Photosquare in front of you every day is to create a new journey every day.
